CMR

The international CMR consignment note is a document that attests the conclusion of a transport contract, which consists of 24 text boxes. There are no specific requirements for its content but the applicable regulations contain certain suggestions. In most cases, the CMR is drawn up by the consignor or by the carrier (once the latter has received the transport commission). For goods transported by road, the CMR consignment note should be at hand in the vehicle, for presentation to the police or customs inspectors. It should contain the following information: the name and address of the consignor and of the consignee, the name and address of the carrier, the place and date of acceptance of the goods for carriage, the date of issue of the consignment note, the place of delivery, designations of the types of goods, information about the packaging and quantity, numbers and features of individual items, gross weight, costs of transport services, instructions for completing customs formalities, and, if necessary, instructions for the carrier regarding the insurance of the shipment.

Immigration property

The right to resettle property appertains to Polish citizens and to foreign nationals who transfer their place of residence from a third country (outside the EU) to the EU (including Poland). They may benefit from relief from import duties on their personal property after meeting certain legal requirements. Personal property consists in particular of household movable property, bicycles, private motor vehicles (including cars and motorcycles) and their trailers, campers, recreation boats, private aircraft, usual household and family belongings, domestic and riding animals, as well as portable instruments and equipment needed for the exercise of a trade or profession.

EORI registration

If you intend to import goods from outside the European Union or export them to non-EU countries, you will need an EORI number. If you do not know how to get it, entrust this matter to our agency and we will take care of all the formalities.

Intrastat

The Intrastat declaration is a form that must be filled in by entrepreneurs conducting business activity and trading goods between the EU member states. It is a mandatory document that is used to collect statistics on foreign trade. The obligation to provide information applies to those whose value of imports or exports exceeds the values of the so-called “statistical thresholds” set and announced annually by the President of the Central Statistical Office.
